Our story
Some businesses start with a business plan. Brave Heart Seniors started with a calling. When Alexandria founded Brave Heart Seniors LLC, she wasn't looking to build just another home care agency. She was driven by something deeper, a genuine love for older adults and an unshakeable belief that every senior deserves to spend their later years surrounded by compassion, dignity, and people who truly care.
Growing up in Western Massachusetts, Alexandria watched her community's seniors navigate the challenge of aging. Sometimes alone, sometimes without the right support, and too often without the human connection that makes life meaningful. She knew she could do something about that. So, she did.
From day one, Alexandria built Brave Heart Seniors the right way, surrounding herself with a small team of caregivers who shared her heart for this work. Not just people with the right credentials, but people with the right character. People who show up not because it's a job, but because it matters. The name says everything. A brave heart doesn't look away from hard moments. A brave heart shows up for the early mornings and the difficult days, for the quiet afternoons and the times when just having someone present makes all the difference.
Today, Brave Heart Seniors proudly serves seniors and families across Western Massachusetts. We are locally owned, minority- and women-owned, and deeply rooted in the region we call home. We started small and we're proud of that. Because small means personal. Small means Alexandria still knows every client's name, every caregiver's story, and every family's hope for their loved one.
